COPE – Africa focuses on the creation of knowledge through research, information dissemination and knowledge enrichment towards assisting in entrenching sustainable ethical practices through adequate understanding of how ethical issues influences professional and organisational behaviour as well as the ethical implications of such behavioural practices.
The specific objectives of COPE Include:

• In-depth studies on organisational values and professionals ethical codes of conduct.
• Collection and collation of baseline data on ethics of organizations and professions.
• Update inventory on ethics of professions institutions and organizations.
• Evolve an ethical value systems and Codes of Conduct for organizations and professions.
• Develop models of ethical Codes of Conduct that might be useful to Nigerian, African/global organizations and professions.
• Resources Centre for Organizations and Professions on ethical Codes of Conducts for formulation of various policies.
